Tenant Forms and Information
At Delaney Properties Ltd. our objective is to offer all our tenants excellent service and peace of mind.
Within this page, you will find access to tenant forms, important information and policies, and links to other related tenant information websites.
If you are interested in an available rental please fill in the Rental Application and submit back to our offices. We do not fill vacancies on a first come first serve basis, every application is considered, we do however scrutinize each applicant to ensure the right tenant is chosen for each specific rental.
If you are not looking for a rental right away but would like to be considered for an upcoming rental meeting your specific needs you can be preapproved by filling in an application and advising in writing to our office what you are looking for. Ie: Maximum Rental Amount, # of bedrooms, # of bathrooms (if specific), area of town, date needed, # of people in your family or group, pets, etc.
Residential Tenancy Agreement
Our office uses the official forms from the Residential Tenancy Act of British Columbia. There are usually basic addendums added to the agreement regarding smoking, pets, inspections, etc. as well as any that the Owner of the premises specifically wants on the agreement.
Condition Inspection Report
Upon move in the tenant and landlord are required to fill in a Condition Inspection Report. This report should be filled in on site with the landlord to note any deficiencies in the rental unit or not any repairs needed initially. Upon move out the landlord and tenant are required to complete an on site inspection to note any new repairs needed, problems to the unit or sign off on the agreement.
Upon completing the paperwork for the tenancy our tenants are asked to fill in this form to ensure we have all up to date and current contact information.
Residential Tenancy Office of BC
The official web page for the Residential Tenancy Board this web page is a good source for understanding the Residential Tenancy Act and Regulations. Tenants and landlords can use this web page to understand their rights and responsibilities.
Checklist for Tenants who are vacating a Rental Property
Tenants are asked to ensure the items on this list are completed prior to vacating their rental property. We ask tenants to leave their rental the way they would expect to find it.
